The Colts are signing WR Darius Slayton, according to Tom Pelissero of The Ringer. The move comes on the same day that we found out Alec Pierce will miss multiple weeks after aggravating a heel injury that required surgery over the summer.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Probably Not Much
Slayton got dumped by the Giants just before the season. We'll see how quickly he challenges for a role that Laquon Treadwell filled after Pierce left Sunday night in Kansas City.
Slayton has averaged just 2.8 catches per game for his career and hasn't reached 3.0 for a season since 2020. He did, however, enter the league in the same draft as Daniel Jones and play with the QB across six years with the Giants.
Still, it's tough to envision much fantasy impact from Slayton with the Colts. He's likely to sit behind at least Tyler Warren, Josh Downs, and Keenan Allen in targets.
