Cowboys RB Javonte Williams bounced back from an inefficient first two games with 98 yards on 19 carries against the Ravens. He also punched in a goal line TD, although his receiving contribution remained limited at 2 catches for 5 yards.

Williams complimented the O-line after the effort against Baltimore.
“The o-line had great communication,” Williams said. “They executed the game plan well. I feel like the two days we got out here and got moving around really helped us with the game plan. “We have to keep it going.”
Williams averaged 3.16 yards before contact on his runs, a solid mark that backs up the praise for his O-line.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Williams’ efficient day was overshadowed a bit by two fumbles (one lost). More importantly, though, he remained a clear lead back with 22 of the 29 total backfield opportunities (carries plus targets).
Tyler Goodson appears to have taken over as Dallas’ No. 2 RB, logging 6 carries and 1 target with Emari Demercado inactive as a healthy scratch. That makes Goodson worth stashing in deeper formats, as he would be the most likely back to see a meaningful workload boost if Williams goes down.
Demercado can be dropped ahead of Week 4.
As for Williams: He’ll get a Houston team that’s sixth in rush defense DVOA through three weeks. He'll project as a low-end RB1 or RB2.
