The Panthers on Wednesday placed both their starting corners on IR. Jaycee Horn suffered a torn quad in Sunday's loss to the Browns, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He has sought second opinions this week. Jackson injured his groin in the same game. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler says the team is hoping to get Jackson back "some time in November." Carolina's next four games land in October, surrounding a Week 5 bye. So it sounds like there's a chance Jackson misses only the minimum before getting reactivated.

Canales: "There's no replacing Jaycee Horn. He has had such an amazing offseason, training camp, in season; just the energy, the preparation, all the different things. [He] has been amazing ... so there's no replacing that. We're not asking our guys to replace Jaycee. We're just asking them to do their job."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Jackson's the bigger loss for IDP managers, though neither's a fantasy killer. You should go ahead and drop either Panthers CB if you have him in redraft.
Fourth-round rookie CB Will Lee played 91% of the snaps against Cleveland, up from 54% and 36% the first two weeks.
Akayleb Evans was the only other CB to get time, besides Horn and Jackson.
Expect that pair to lead the position in playing time for Carolina in Week 4, and perhaps throughout Jackson's IR stint.
You should also expect the Lions to try to exploit those corners, which figures to create plenty of tackle opportunities.
Evans and Lee both make sense as Week 4 considerations for CB-required slots.
