Evan Engram Headshot

Broncos TE Evan Engram caught all 4 of his targets for 55 yards in Sunday’s 23-17 win over the Chargers. His longest catch went for 34 yards, and he finished with 9.5 PPR points. Engram led Denver in both catches and receiving yards. No other Bronco topped 19 receiving yards. Bo Nix threw for only 123 yards as Denver leaned on the run.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Efficiency Over Volume

This was Engram’s best receiving game of the season. He entered the week with just 6 catches for 66 yards and a TD on 14 targets, a 42.9% catch rate. Sunday’s 55 yards nearly matched his season total, and his 34-yard catch topped his previous long of 19. The volume is still the concern. His 4 targets were in line with his 3.5 per game average, and Denver’s new run-first approach caps everyone’s ceiling. Nate Adkins also has 2 TDs this season, which cuts into Engram’s red-zone value. The Chargers entered allowing the 7th-fewest PPR points to TEs (8.8 per game).

Denver visits the Seahawks in Week 6, then hosts the Cardinals and Chiefs. Seattle ranks 19th in TE points allowed (10.3 per game) and 1st in our pass defense power rankings. The next two weeks are much better. Arizona allows the third-most TE points (19.6) and ranks 30th in our pass defense power rankings. Kansas City allows the second-most TE points (23.2). Don’t expect this every week from Engram, but he could be a streaming option at times in good match-ups.
