Dolphins RB Ollie Gordon tallied 88 yards and 1 score in Sunday’s 7-point loss to the Bengals. Gordon held an 18-6 edge in carries over Jaylen Wright, although neither back garnered a target.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Gordon was excellent in this one, busting off four runs of 10+ yards. That included a game-high 22-yarder that showcased his vision to find a cutback lane.
Later, Gordon converted a goal line attempt from the 1 yard-line. He nearly added another TD later on but was tackled just inside the one. He was stuffed on the next play for a loss of two.
Overall, fantasy managers have to be encouraged by Gordon’s work on the ground. What caps the upside, though, is his lack of receiving. Over the past two weeks, he’s managed just a 5% target share and 0 receiving yards for a low-volume passing game.
Next comes a Week 6 bye, followed by a Jets run defense that entered Week 5 as the second-worst unit in adjusted fantasy points allowed. Gordon figures to settle in as an RB2 for that one.
