Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard tied his career high with 28 carries in Sunday's win over the Eagles. He took those for 120 yards and a TD. Hubbard came close to a second score late but got tackled at the 2-yard line after picking up a first down following the 2-minute warning. Carolina kneeled twice from there to close out the game. Hubbard added a 1-yard catch among 2 targets. Trevor Etienne played just three snaps and handled the Panthers' only other RB touch (a carry). RB Anthony Tyus III played two snaps but didn't get a carry or target.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Keep Playing Hubbard
This was Hubbard's second straight game of 120+ rushing yards and just the second time in his career he has hit 100 in consecutive outings.
Hubbard's carries have increased each week, including 19+ in three straight games.
He gets a tougher RB-scoring matchup with the Bucs next week, but then a three-game span that includes strongly positive spots at Green Bay and New Orleans sandwiching a neutral rushing matchup with Denver.
Keep Hubbard glued to most lineups at least as long as Jonathon Brooks remains out.
Brooks will be eligible to come off IR in Week 8. We'll see exactly when he's ready and what his role looks like upon that return.
