RB Ashton Jeanty finished as the RB8 despite gaining just 22 yards on 10 carries. A rushing TD and 4 catches for 36 yards on 6 targets saved his day. He wasn’t on the injury report, but his snap rate only rose to 58% after 53% in Week 5. Mike Washington Jr. took half the early-down snaps and outgained Jeanty 43 to 22 on 9 carries.

The split shifted from Week 5, when Dylan Laube handled more of the passing situations. This week Jeanty took those snaps back at the expense of early downs, where Washington out-snapped him 17 to 16. Jeanty played 36 snaps overall to Washington’s 21 and Laube’s 5. The efficiency gap was stark: Jeanty averaged 2.2 yards per carry to Washington’s 4.8. Washington also took 2 of 3 short-yardage snaps.
Jeanty played 76% of snaps over the first four weeks before a foot injury limited him. In Week 5 he ran 10 times for 27 yards and caught 3 passes for 50 yards, finishing as the RB28. The positive is that he still dominated the high-value snaps this week: 3 of 4 goal-line snaps, 10 of 11 two-minute snaps and 6 of 10 third downs.
