Week 10 DraftKings Cash-Game Picks

QB
Justin Fields, Bears ($6,500)
Fields’ price is up $1,200 from last week. But it’s deserved.
He’s tallied 24.4, 26 and 45.7 DraftKings points in his last 3 outings. The passing has been better: a 65% completion rate and 6 TDs to just 1 INT. But Fields’ fantasy production has been largely fueled by his rushing. He’s averaging 12.3 carries per game over the last 3. That includes 8.0 designed runs per game, which makes that production particularly bankable.
Fields is in a smash spot on Sunday vs. the Lions, who rank 26th in both Football Outsiders’ pass and run defense DVOA.
The Bears’ 25.75-point implied total is 3rd highest on the main slate.
Also consider: Patrick Mahomes ($7,900), Trevor Lawrence ($5,400)
RBs
Saquon Barkley, Giants ($8,600)
Barkley comes fresh off a bye week for a Texans defense that’s been getting obliterated by the run all season. Houston ranks 30th in Football Outsiders’ run defense DVOA, 32nd in Pro Football Focus’ run defense grades and 32nd in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs. RBs are ripping off 5.7 yards per carry against the Texans.
Barkley is averaging 20.4 carries per game and is a good bet for another 20+ highly efficient totes with the Giants 4.5-point home favorites on Sunday.
Alvin Kamara, Saints ($7,400)
Kamara was quiet last week in a total dud from the Saints offense. But his role remained awesome. Kamara played 88% of New Orleans’ offensive snaps and ran a route on 75% of pass plays – elite marks. He handled 9 of 12 RB carries (75%) and garnered 4 targets (13% share).
As long as the Saints don’t lay another egg this weekend, Kamara will contend for the touch lead among RBs. Remember that he averaged 17.2 carries and 8.2 targets over his previous 5 games.
Kamara draws a Steelers defense on Sunday that ranks dead last in Football Outsiders’ run defense DVOA over the last 5 weeks. They’re coughing up 4.6 yards per carry to RBs during that stretch.
Dameon Pierce, Texans ($6,300)
Pierce remains too cheap for the volume he’s been getting. The rookie has averaged 19.6 carries over his last 7 games, with 20+ in 4 of those. He didn’t see a target last week but ran a route on a solid 56% of pass plays. He’d tallied 4+ targets in each of his previous 4 games.
Pierce gets a Giants run defense that ranks 26th in Football Outsiders DVOA over the last 5 weeks, yielding a big 5.8 yards per carry to RBs.
Also consider: Derrick Henry ($8,300), Travis Etienne ($7,100)
WRs
Christian Kirk, Jaguars ($5,900)
After a brief lull in Weeks 5 and 6, Kirk has been busy again over the past 3. He’s averaged 8.7 targets per game on a 24.5% share during that stretch, scoring 17.1, 7.0 and then 21.6 DK points.
Jacksonville’s passing volume should be up this weekend as 9.5-point underdogs in Kansas City. The Chiefs rank a middling 15th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs and have been worse against slot than outside receivers. 71% of Kirk’s targets this season have come when lined up in the slot.
Rondale Moore, Cardinals ($5,200)
Moore has played 4 games as Arizona’s primary slot receiver this year. He’s drawn 8, 10, 8 and 10 targets in those games, averaging 15.6 DK points.
Moore missed this season’s 1st meeting vs. the Rams. But fill-in slot receiver Greg Dortch posted a 9-80 line on 10 targets in that one.
Donovan Peoples-Jones, Browns ($4,300)
A salary saver to help us fit Fields and those expensive RBs.
Peoples-Jones has averaged 6.2 targets over his last 5 games. He’s tallied 4+ catches in all of them and scored 11.6+ DK points in 4. (He scored 9.0 in the other.)
Sunday’s game vs. Miami has shootout potential. And the Browns are 3.5-point underdogs, so it’s possible that they fall behind and are forced to pass more than they’d like. The Dolphins rank 31st in Football Outsiders’ pass defense DVOA and 16th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs.
Also consider: JuJu Smith-Schuster ($6,000), George Pickens ($5,000)
TEs
Greg Dulcich, Broncos ($3,400)
Dulcich is averaging 5.7 targets on a 16% target share over his first 3 NFL games. He’s scored 12.4, 11.1 and 12.7 DK points.
Dulcich ran a route on 91% of pass plays and garnered a 17% target share last time out. Now he’s coming off a Week 9 bye, so we might even see his role expand.
The Titans defense is much tougher vs. the run than the pass, so expect a pass-leaning attack from Denver on Sunday. And Tennessee ranks 31st in adjusted fantasy points allowed to TEs.
Also consider: Foster Moreau ($3,200)
DSTs
Vikings ($2,200)
A $2,200 DST vs. a backup QB. That’s the argument here.
If QB Josh Allen ends up playing on Sunday, pivot to the Cardinals ($2,700) or Colts ($2,500).
