Ferguson was diagnosed with an MCL sprain, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said he'd "miss time." But it sounds like the injury might be less severe than initially thought. Jones isn't exactly the most reliable source when it comes to injuries, so take this with a grain of salt. Ferguson owners should still be lining up a backup plan for Week 2. But it at least sounds like Ferguson is not looking at an extended absence.
