Ravens Select First-Time HC Jesse Minter

The Ravens are hiring Jesse Minter as their next head coach, according to multiple reports. Minter spent the past two years as Chargers DC after moving there from Michigan with HC Jim Harbaugh. He spent 2021 as DC at Vanderbilt after four years on John Harbaugh's defensive staff in Baltimore: three as an assistant and one as DBs coach.

Minter's father, Rick, has coached in college and the NFL since 1977. That included serving as University of Cincinnati HC 1994-2003. He's currently on the Chargers' staff as a senior defensive analyst.

Fantasy Football Impact

We can't speculate much on the fantasy impact before Minter names his offensive staff, especially given that he has never served as a HC in college or the pros.

The Ravens have reportedly agreed to a five-year deal with Minter, which at least points to potential stability.
