Former Giants HC Brian Daboll is set to become the offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Daboll found success as the Bills’ OC from 2018 to 2021 before joining the Giants. His development of Josh Allen made him an ideal OC hire. He will coach second-year QB Cam Ward and attempt to develop him into a franchise quarterback.
What They're Saying
Adam Schefter of ESPN: “The Titans are now set to hire former Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, contingent upon him not getting the Raiders head coaching job. Robert Saleh, the former Jets HC, and Brian Daboll, the former Giants HC, now poised to join forces in Tennessee.”
Fantasy Football Impact
Daboll’s impact on Ward will be the primary focus, but he should also help the running game with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, if both remain with the team. He will also have multiple second-year WRs to develop in Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike.
The Titans also have young offensive line pieces to build around in OG Peter Skoronski and RT JC Latham.
The team should continue investing in the offense this offseason, especially in the weapons around Ward.
This offense carries sleeper potential with Daboll at the helm and a young QB with upside.
