The Eagles are sending a pair of third-round picks to the Vikings for Edge Jonathan Greenard. Philly's giving up a third-rounder in this year's draft plus one next year. Greenard will also get a four-year extension worth a reported $100 million.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Greenard delivered 12 sacks in 2024, his first Vikings season, among 18 tackles for loss and 22 QB hits. He lost 7+ games to injury last year, though, and Minnesota has been shopping him this offseason.
The Eagles clearly believe in a healthy Greenard, though, and replace Jaelan Phillips at a lower rate. They acquired Phillips in trade last season but then lost him to Carolina in free agency.
Expect Greenard to get a full-time role in Philly and return to IDP relevance. His quiet 2025 helps his chances of landing in attractive-value range of 2026 redraft.
Dynasty Impact
The multi-year extension ahead of Greenard's age-29 season points to the Eagles believing he'll return value beyond this season as well. Greenard looks like an upside option over the next few years in sack/pressure-friendly IDP formats.
