Raiders HC Klint Kubiak offered little clarity on RB Ashton Jeanty's ankle injury after Tuesday's practice. "He's on the mend," Kubiak said, via ESPN's Ryan McFadden. "Again, Ashton got hurt in practice, and the whole team took a knee. That says a lot about him being on the mend and counting on him. Really excited about getting him back. I'm a huge believer in the power of prayer."
What They're Saying
Kubiak was also asked if the team's prayers for Jeanty were answered. His response: "He always answers in his time."

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on Tuesday morning that Jeanty's ankle sprain is "believed to be more low than high" and is not a long-term injury. But he added that Jeanty is uncertain for Week 1.
Between that, Kubiak's comments, and the team's response to the injury on Sunday, it seems like Jeanty is dealing with more than a typical low-ankle sprain.
We'll continue to look for more concrete updates on Jeanty's injury and timeline for return. But we're docking him another game in our projections for now.
If you're drafting tonight, we wouldn't consider him until Round 3.
