2026 Fantasy Football Impact: None for Week 1 ... but Perhaps Some Damage Beyond
The practical impact here: Pittsburgh will face Falcons WR Drake London without its top cover man available. That obviously boosts the matchup for London, though he could be limited by Cooper Rush throwing him passes.
Losing Porter for any further time would likely damage Pittsburgh's pass defense and potentially make it a more difficult unit to trust in our fantasy lineups. I'd still play the Steelers against these Falcons in Week 1, though.
Porter's absence holds minimal impact for IDP purposes. He has done well at limiting completions but collected just 3 INTs while averaging a mere 40 solo tackles per season across his three years in the league.
