Bears TE Colston Loveland had no catches on only 2 targets while the Bears offense exploded for 59 points against the Carolina Panthers. Fellow TE Cole Kmet went 2-35-1. The raw fantasy production is extremely concerning, but don’t panic just yet. Loveland led the entire Bears weapons in snaps (65) and routes run (35). So, the underlying usage was still solid.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
It’s always difficult to look at a 0 in your fantasy lineup, but Loveland should continue being started going forward.
One of his two targets was in the end zone, so that is positive. He also played 100% of all third down snaps over Cole Kmet. Loveland's usage was very similar to late last season (and the playoffs), when he broke out.
Keep starting Loveland with confidence and expect a bounce-back as soon as next week against the Vikings, who gave up 65 yards to TE Tucker Kraft in Week 1.
