Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard rushed 10 times for 49 yards and a TD in Week 1 against the Bears. He also added 3 catches for 38 yards and another TD. Hubbard dominated the RB snaps for the Panthers. He played 48 snaps while Jonathon Brooks was the clear back-up, playing only 13 snaps.

Hubbard also outperformed Brooks in the receiving game, running 26 routes to Brooks’ six. Brooks did have a long 48-yard catch, but Hubbard was utilized as a lead RB on all downs.
The Panthers offense hummed to 37 points. If they continue to score like that, Hubbard should have strong fantasy performances going forward. That seems unlikely after the Bears defense let Bryce Young and Hubbard torch them.
Next week, the Panthers get the Falcons who gave up 20 points to the Steelers.
