Jaguars WR Parker Washington drew a team-high 6 targets in Sunday's lopsided win over the Browns, catching five of them for 83 yards and one of QB Trevor Lawrence's four TD passes. No other Jag drew more than 3 targets as the team attempted just 23 total passes. Washington ran a route on 72% of Jacksonville's 25 dropbacks, trailing Jakobi Meyers by two routes (20-18).

Brian Thomas Jr. finished just behind Meyers and Washington in routes, though he also left briefly with an apparent shoulder injury. We should get a clearer look at their usage in Week 2.
According to Pro Football Focus, though, Meyers and Washington played more than Thomas in "12" personnel (one RB, two TEs, two WRs).
Meyers' lead at just 80% route share also marked a small decline from last season's usage. From Week 10 on in 2025 -- his first game with the team -- Meyers ran a route on 85% of the pass plays, with Thomas at 78% and Washington at 75%.
Sunday's numbers for Meyers and Washington were close to those rates, so we might not be looking at a meaningful difference. If the rotation of personnel packages does limit their participation at all, though, it'll ding the floor and ceilings for the affected WRs.
There's no cause for concern yet on Jacksonville wideouts, especially because Week 1's mere 23 pass attempts will likely be a season low. (Lawrence averaged 32.9 attempts per game last year.)
But we'll keep tracking the usage. This is the first full season of all three wideouts playing together, the first year that has opened with Washington in the starting lineup, and the first year with second-round rookie Nate Boerkircher expanding TE usage.
Jags pass catchers should find a much more challenging matchup at Denver in Week 2.
