Love posts a career-high 22.9 PPR points following an uptick in usage. He handled 21 rush attempts for 90 yards while hauling in all five of his targets for 19 more yards and a TD. The rookie RB ranks as the RB3 in Week 3 pending Sunday- and Monday Night Football.

On a day when the Cardinals totaled 93 rushing yards, Love was responsible for 90 of them. But it was a long path to getting there.
Love handled 21 of the team’s 27 carries, but none of them led to plays of at least 10 yards. Although the struggle wasn’t particularly limited to Love, as Allgeier was the only other RB for the Cardinals with a rush attempt, and it led to negative one rushing yard.
That lack of high-scoring plays isn’t an expected theme moving forward for Love, who ranked second among all collegiate RBs last season with 3.19 yards per team rush attempt.
Now that we’ve seen him handle a high-volume workload, a boost in production awaits. Especially with friendlier matchups ahead, starting with the Giants next week.
