Rams TE Tyler Higbee notched a 5-67 receiving line on 6 targets in Sunday's win over the Eagles. That placed him fourth on the team in targets, third in catches, and tied for second in yards. Higbee also ranked third on the team in pass routes, nearly doubling the nearest competitor. His 41 routes more than tripled No. 2 TE Davis Allen, who played almost exclusively as a blocker. Rookie Max Klare hit the field for just one snap.
What They're Saying
QB Matthew Stafford, between the Week 3 loss to Denver and Sunday's game: "To play any role, he's ready to go every Sunday. That's such a huge part of our team is having guys like that. He obviously leads the way in that room when it comes to experience and versatility in this offense."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Higbee a Short-Term Starting Option
TE Terrance Ferguson will miss at least another three games after landing on IR with his ankle injury. That makes Higbee fantasy-viable for matchups with the Bills, Cardinals, and Raiders. We'll see beyond that.
Higbee has certainly benefited from big passing volume the past two games, though. Stafford threw 55 passes in the Week 3 loss to Denver and 51 in Sunday's win at Philly. The first two games saw him throw just 56 times combined.
Higbee's 17 targets over those two games still account for a solid 16% of Rams pass attempts. That would rank 14th among TEs for the season.
That's the range in which you should consider Higbee while Ferguson's out.
