Bhayshul Tuten Headshot

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten carried a career-high 22 times for 72 yards in Sunday's win over the Eagles, adding 24 yards on 2 receptions. Chris Rodriguez trailed well behind with 2 carries for 5 yards and 1 catch for 6 on his lone target. LeQuint Allen played the backfield's second-most snaps, running a route on all 13 of his plays. He went touchless on 2 targets, though.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact

Pro Football Focus credited Tuten with a career-high 87.5% share of "early-down" snaps against Philadelphia. That continues his upward trend through the first four weeks.

It also matches Tuten's upward movement on the opportunity front that Jared pointed out after Week 4:

Snap Rate Route RateCarry ShareTarget Share
Week 1 49.1% 32.0%46.9%4.8%
Week 2 50.8% 38.9%54.2%7.1%
Week 3 48.4% 27.3%50.0%7.4%
Week 459.0%45.5%63.0%8.7%
Week 568.1%47.7%91.7%8.8%

That usage obviously didn't convert to much fantasy production in Week 5. But if Tuten continues to claim that much work, the numbers will follow.

Unfortunately, Tuten now gets a difficult Week 6 matchup with Houston at home and then a Week 7 bye.

That combo on the tail of a lackluster outing vs. Philly could present a buy window ahead of the second half of your season, though.

Just be careful not to overpay for Jacksonville's lead back, who has yet to present much receiving upside. Tuten entered the week just 38th among RBs in target share, and even his elevated shares of the past two weeks would land him in the range of 29th to 30th.

The run-heavy profile leaves Tuten vulnerable when the Jaguars find negative offensive game scripts and lean way from the ground game.
