Colts WR Josh Downs caught 3 of 6 targets for 47 yards in Sunday’s 34-22 loss to the Steelers. A 42-yard catch made up most of his production, so he gained just 5 yards on his other 2 receptions. That came out to 7.7 PPR points. Downs finished fourth on the team in targets behind Tyler Warren (9), Keenan Allen (9) and Laquon Treadwell (8). Daniel Jones threw 44 passes, yet Downs saw only 13.6% of them.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: The TD Drought Continues
Downs entered the week with 17 catches for 202 yards and 0 TDs on 28 targets. That’s 7 targets and 50.5 yards per game, so Sunday came in below his season pace on volume. The 42-yarder was his longest catch of the year by 17 yards. Still, this was his second straight quiet game after a 3-16 line against Washington. He still hasn’t scored, and the targets are now spread across four players. Pittsburgh entered ranked 19th in PPR points allowed to WRs (31.8 per game) and 15th in our pass defense power rankings.
The Colts host the Titans in Week 6, then visit the Vikings and Jaguars. Tennessee is the bounce-back spot, allowing the 12th-most PPR points to WRs (36.3 per game) and ranking 31st in our pass defense power rankings. Minnesota ranks 21st (29.8) but 6th in our pass defense power rankings. Jacksonville allows the 4th-most WR points (40.2) and ranks 13th in our pass defense power rankings. Downs is still a solid WR3 and flex option, especially in good match-ups. The Titans and Jaguars games coming up gives him a path to a better week.
