WR Carnell Tate led the Titans with 6 catches and 70 yards in Sunday's win over the Colts, also snagging the team's lone offensive TD. Tate tied WR Wan'Dale Robinson for the team target lead at 7 and posted the following market shares:
- 31.8% targets
- 54.5% receptions
- 68.6% yards
Robinson managed just 3 catches for 22 yards.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: QB Lowers Tate's Ceiling and Floor
Tate's outing marked a nice rebound from his 1-catch, 6-yard Week 5. He has now caught 6+ balls in three of the past four games.
But Tennessee's overall passing production could damage Tate at times.
The Titans sit just 31st in passing yards and 30th in passing TDs despite entering the week 20th in pass attempts.
Tate's a solid bet to stay around his strong 34.5% share of team receiving yards, which sits not far ahead of his 27.6% target share. That ranked 10th among WRs entering Sunday's action.
But the Colts game marked just the second time this season that Tate has exceeded 58 yards in a game. Tennessee's offensive weakness adds weekly volatility, as we saw in Tate's route Week 5 vs. Houston.
The first-round rookie belongs in weekly WR3 consideration but makes for a much shakier bet than his skills and role would be in just about any other situation.
He'll get tough individual matchups with Cleveland CB Denzel Ward and Cincinnati CB DJ Turner the next two games before Tennessee's Week 9 bye.
