Chargers RB Omarion Hampton logged just 9 carries for 20 yards in Sunday's return from the Week 7 bye. He added 2 catches for 7 yards among 3 targets. Kimani Vidal carried eight times for 23 yards, adding 2 catches for 7 yards on 2 targets. Keaton Mitchell rushed four times for 6 yards and led the trio with 3 catches for 17 yards on 3 targets.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: It's Bad
Hampton checked in third in backfield playing time in the loss to the Rams. His 18 snaps trailed Vidal's 28 and Mitchell's 19. Both guys also beat Hampton in pass routes:
- Mitchell 13
- Vidal 12
- Hampton 9
Position that within the league's worst offense by expected points added per drive, and there's nothing to like about Hampton's outlook.
The split also keeps Mitchell and Vidal from being usable. We're probably going to need at least one injury in this backfield to give any guy a chance at real startability.
