Philadelphia's J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is moving from WR to TE, according to insider Jeff McLane. It's a desperation move for the 57th overall pick of the 2019 draft, who's totaled just 16 catches at WR over the last 3 seasons. We'll keep an eye on JJAW at his new position, but he's obviously a long shot for any fantasy value.

Eagles WR Jalen Reagor could use a strong training camp after a lackluster debut season, but it doesn't sound like things are going particularly well for him. The Athletic's Bo Wulf says Reagor has been "underwhelming" so far and hasn't capitalized on any extra opportunity afforded by DeVonta Smith's knee sprain. "Travis Fulgham, Quez Watkins and John Hightower have each made more splashy plays since Smith's absence, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward have been steadier," Wulf writes. He adds that it's "hard to imagine" Reagor not claiming a starting spot come the regular season, but we'd obviously like to hear better things about the 2020 first-round pick. Reagor belongs in the later rounds of drafts -- where his ADP has been so far -- until something changes.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring) missed practice all week and is out for Sunday night’s game vs. the 49ers. He might be looking at a multi-week absence. WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (calf) is doubtful for Week 4, so it figures to be Greg Ward, John Hightower and Deontay Burnett as Philly’s top 3 WRs vs. San Francisco. TE Zach Ertz is the team’s best target bet.

Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Redskins. Philly has just 3 WRs available for tomorrow: Greg Ward, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Robert Davis.

Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Redskins. He didn't practice all week, though, so don't expect him to play. That'd leave Greg Ward, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and practice squad call-up Robert Davis as Philly's top 3 WRs. TEs Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert should continue to play big roles in the passing game.

Eagles HC Doug Pederson said Tuesday that WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (hamstring) is "fine" but that WR Nelson Agholor (knee) remains "up in the air" for Week 15. With WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) expected to miss the rest of the season, Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward are currently Philly's only healthy WRs. We'll see if Agholor is able to make it back for Sunday's game against the Redskins, but look for TEs Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert to play big roles in that one regardless.

Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (knee) is inactive for tonight's game against the Giants. His absence leaves more snaps and targets available for young WRs J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward.

Eagles WRs Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and Nelson Agholor (knee) are inactive for today’s game against the Seahawks. That leaves Jordan Matthews, Mack Hollins, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward as Philly’s healthy WRs. We wouldn’t trust any of them in fantasy lineups. TE Zach Ertz, TE Dallas Goedert and RB Miles Sanders could be the team’s top 3 target-getters today.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. He's now in real danger of missing this weekend's game against the Patriots. That'd leave Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and newly signed Jordan Matthews as Philly's top 4 WRs. It'd also figure to push more targets to TEs Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) is inactive for today’s game against the Lions. We’ll see if he’s able to return for Thursday night’s game against the Packers. With WR DeSean Jackson (groin) also out, Philly is down to Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins. Agholor is the best target bet and a solid Week 3 fantasy play. Arcega-Whiteside is the most exciting talent of the trio and is worth considering in DFS tournament lineups.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport calls Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) a "long shot" to play against the Lions today. "Though the team may give him the chance to work out and fight to see the field," Rapoport adds. Even if Jeffery ends up giving it a go, he'd be an extremely risky fantasy play. He should be on Week 3 benches. With DeSean Jackson out, Philly is down to Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins atop the fantasy depth chart. Agholor is the best fantasy bet, while Arcega-Whiteside is an intriguing DFS tournament flier.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. So, too, were WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and TE Dallas Goedert (calf). Philly figures to be down to WRs Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega Whiteside and Mack Hollins for this weekend's game against the Lions.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery is dealing with a calf strain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It’s not major, but with two games in 10 days, the timing is bad," Rapoport adds. "His status for those is in some doubt." It sounds like Jeffery is unlikely to play against the Lions this weekend and could also miss the following Thursday night's game against the Packers. His absence would mean more snaps for WRs J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins.

The Eagles added Stanford WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside with the 57th pick of the draft. Arcega-Whiteside turned in an impressive career for the Cardinal. He led the team with 5 receiving scores and finished 2nd with 379 receiving yards as a sophomore. Then he posted a 48-781-9 line as a junior, leading Stanford in all 3 categories. He boosted his numbers across the board this past season, racking up 63 catches for 1,059 yards and 14 scores. His market shares — 25.6% of the catches, 33.1% of the yards and a whopping 56.0% of the TDs — rank 20th, 15th and 2nd among the 48 WRs who were invited to the Combine. He ranked 12th among all draft-eligible WRs in yards per route run (3.03), according to Pro Football Focus. An all-state basketball player in high school, Arcega-Whiteside plays WR like he’s rebounding, displaying some of the best contested-catch ability in this draft class. He’s also quicker in his routes than you might expect from a 6’2, 225-pounder. He didn’t work out at the Combine but clocked a 4.49-second 40 time at his Pro Day. Arcega-Whiteside joins a currently crowded Eagles WR corps with Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Nelson Agholor. But Agholor has been the subject of trade rumors and D-Jax is 32. We like this landing spot from a dynasty perspective.
