T.Y. Hilton Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Cowboys waived WR James Washington. A broken right foot suffered on August 1 kept Washington out until Week 14. He ended up going catchless on 15 offensive snaps over the last 4 games, quickly getting passed on the depth chart by WR T.Y. Hilton. Dallas will head into the playoff with CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Noah Brown and Hilton as its top 4 WRs.

Cowboys WR T.Y. Hilton went from 1 catch on 12 snaps in his team debut in Week 16 to 4 catches on 22 snaps this past week. “I could see him getting even more this week," HC Mike McCarthy said Monday. "It’s a steady incline." Hilton was still 4th among Dallas WRs in route rate (33%) last week, but it's possible that he passes up Noah Brown for the #3 role by playoff time. Something to keep in mind for your playoff fantasy drafts.

Cowboys WR T.Y. Hilton will play vs. the Eagles on Saturday, owner Jerry Jones said Friday. "He should impact us immediately. I expect him to be involved and counted on," Jones added. We'll see how big a role Hilton ends up playing in his Dallas debut, but he's not a realistic Week 16 fantasy option.

The Cowboys signed WR T.Y. Hilton. The 33-year-old has been available since hitting free agency in March. He missed 16 games over the previous 3 seasons and averaged just 41 yards per game. Hilton is unlikely to be more than a situational player in Dallas and isn't worth adding outside of the deepest fantasy leagues. The Hilton addition presumably means Dallas won't be signing WR Odell Beckham.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Hilton will play in a plus matchup vs. the Jaguars this weekend but remains a risky fantasy option. He’s played in 2 games this season and left both with injuries.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) put in a full practice on Thursday. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. Jacksonville. Hilton has played in just 2 games so far this season -- and he exited both early with injuries. He'd be tough to trust in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He seemingly has a shot to be cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton sustained a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Titans and will miss Thursday night's game vs. the Jets, according to The Athletic's Zak Keefer. We'll see if Hilton can get cleared for Week 10. Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal will again operate as Indy's top 2 WRs on Thursday night.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton exited in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Titans to get checked for a concussion. His status hasn't been updated since. We should learn more tomorrow.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is active for today’s game vs. the Titans. He put in a full practice on Friday. Hilton lasted just 24 snaps in his 2021 debut back in Week 6, though, and would be a high-risk fantasy start today.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Colts have "optimism" that WR T.Y. Hilton will play today against the Titans. He's officially questionable with the quad injury that kept him out last week, but HC Frank Reich said "I thought he looked good" at practice this week.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Titans. He put in a full practice on Friday, though, so expect him to play. It’s good news for QB Carson Wentz, but Hilton is just a fantasy flier until we see him make it through at least 1 game healthy.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. It gives him a shot to play vs. the Titans this weekend, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. At this point, fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him in Week 8 lineups. We'll see if Hilton can get back on the field tomorrow.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) has been downgraded to out for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers. No surprise after he was unable to practice all week. Insider Kevin Bowen expects WR Ashton Dulin to take on a "much bigger role" behind WRs Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal. But Dulin is only in play in 1-game DFS contests.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the 49ers. He didn’t practice all week, though, so he seems unlikely to play. Hilton shouldn’t be in your Week 7 fantasy plans.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) missed practice again on Thursday. He told reporters afterward that he's "50/50" to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday night, but we're not expecting to see him out there. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) did not practice on Wednesday. He reportedly avoided a significant injury but looks iffy for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is "doing fine" on Monday after hurting his quad in Sunday's win over the Texans, HC Frank Reich said. It looks like Hilton avoided a significant injury in his 2021 debut, but we'll see if he's able to play vs. the 49ers this weekend.
