Zach Charbonnet Might Be Ready Sooner Than We Expected

SI's Albert Breer visited Seahawks training camp early this week and had an interesting take on the return timeline for RB Zach Charbonnet in his recovery from a January ACL tear. Charbonnet's currently on the physically unable to perform list but eligible to come off at any point the team deems him ready to practice. If he stays on the PUP throughout camp, the RB would be eligible to stay on the list into the season. That would cost him at least the first four games.

Multiple insiders expect the Seahawks to deploy another committee backfield in 2026. And that's even before RB Zach Charbonnet is ready to return from his torn ACL. Seattle spent the 32nd pick of this spring's draft on RB Jadarian Price, but RB George Holani and potentially RB Emanuel Wilson are also expected to factor in this season.

The Seahawks placed RB Zach Charbonnet on the Physically Unable to Perform list ahead of training camp. Charbonnet tore his left ACL in January during the Divisional Round, and return timelines have ranged from October to December. So this move isn't a surprise. He could come off the list at any point during camp, but that still appears unlikely. He could also open the regular season on the PUP list, which would sideline him for at least four games.

"This is the best I've felt in six weeks." That's what Green Bay RB Josh Jacobs said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. The Packers writer adds that Jacobs has been "dealing with a swollen and stiff knee." Jacobs is off the injury report for the first time since Week 11.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Vikings. Green Bay is starting Clayton Tune at QB and figures to rest more regulars. RB Emanuel Wilson is the best bet for carries but isn't an exciting fantasy option with his team implied for 12.5 points.

        1. 1 Jadarian Price SEA RB
        2. 2 George Holani SEA RB
