Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) isn't listed on the final Week 6 injury report. But HC Freddie Kitchens wouldn't say whether Higgins will play against the Seahawks on Sunday, according to insider Scott Petrak. Higgins operated as Cleveland's #3 WR in Week 1, but WR Antonio Callaway is in the mix now. Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry are the only Browns who should be in Week 6 fantasy lineups.
Browns WR Rashard Higgins is inactive for tonight's game against the 49ers. It marks the 4th straight game he will have missed because of his knee injury. We'll see whether Antonio Callaway can wrest #3 WR duties from Damion Ratley in his return from a 4-game league drug suspension.
Browns WRs Antonio Callaway (ankle) and Rashard Higgins (knee) are listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Chiefs. Higgins was limited in practice this week, while Callaway was added to the injury report on Thursday and sidelined on Friday. We’ll find out these guys’ statuses by noon ET on Sunday, but it’s a situation to avoid in Week 9 fantasy lineups.
Browns WR Antonio Callaway is back on the field after missing most of the spring with a groin injury. And he's been impressing. Callaway "tore up the defensive backs in 1-on-1 drills" on Thursday, according to insider Mary Kay Cabot. He "looked fast and healthy." Callaway lasted into the 4th round of this year's draft due largely to character concerns. Some had him pegged as a 2nd-round talent. Cabot believes the rookie could push Corey Coleman for his spot on the depth chart. That battle becomes more and more interesting the longer Josh Gordon is away from the team.
Browns WR Antonio Callaway missed 7 of 12 offseason practices with a groin injury, per beat writer Nate Ulrich. He should be back at full health by the time Cleveland opens up training camp on July 26. The rookie will spend camp battling Corey Coleman for the #3 role behind Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry. Callaway will be given a chance to earn return duties, too.
