Harold Fannin Full-Go For Camp After Groin Surgery

Browns TE Harold Fannin revealed that he had surgery this offseason to address the groin injury he suffered in Week 17 last year. Fannin spent about two months rehabbing and did little in spring workouts, but he was cleared a couple of weeks ago and is now a full participant in training camp.

Harold Fannin Jr. Absence from Browns Offseason Activities Raises Questions

Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. sat out team activities in May and June, including OTA practices and mandatory minicamp, after participating in voluntary minicamp in April. That absence stands out because Fannin injured his groin ahead of Week 17 against the Steelers, reinjured it during the game, and then missed Week 18. The Browns don’t need to explain the absence, but it would be worth watching if that groin injury is still limiting him.

David Njoku Leaves With Knee Injury

Browns TE David Njoku suffered a knee injury on a TD catch in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Titans. He's officially questionable to return. Njoku had fallen way behind TE Harold Fannin in the pecking order, but his absence can't be bad news for the rookie.

        Harold Fannin Active

Browns TE Harold Fannin (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Jets. He was added to the injury report and did not practice on Thursday but returned to a limited practice on Friday. The hammy certainly adds risk to Fannin’s profile, but he’s still sits in borderline TE1 territory in the Week 10 rankings.

Harold Fannin Expected To Play Week 10

Browns TE Harold Fannin (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Jets on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Fannin was added to the injury report and did not practice on Thursday but was able to return to a limited practice on Friday. The hamstring adds risk to his Week 10 profile, but the rookie is still a viable low-end TE1 play.

Harold Fannin Questionable For Week 10

Browns TE Harold Fannin (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jets. He was added to the injury report and did not practice on Thursday, but Fannin was able to return to a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more info on his status, but the hamstring issue certainly adds risk to his Week 10 fantasy profile.

Harold Fannin Out Thursday With Hamstring

Browns TE Harold Fannin was added to the injury report with a hamstring and did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details, but the rookie's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Jets is now in question. Fannin's absence would turn David Njoku into a borderline TE1. We'll update the situation tomorrow.

David Njoku Questionable For Week 8

Browns TE David Njoku (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. Njoku would be a shaky fantasy play coming off the injury and splitting work with TE Harold Fannin. But his return would knock Fannin down the TE rankings. We’ll look for more updates on Njoku and get Cleveland’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

David Njoku Does Not Practice Wednesday

Browns TE David Njoku (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He briefly tried to play through this injury last week but ultimately exited the game for good. We're not expecting Njoku to play vs. the Dolphins this weekend, which would turn TE Harold Fannin into a very viable fantasy starter.

        David Njoku Hurts Knee

Browns TE David Njoku suffered a thigh injury in the second half of Sunday's game vs. the Steelers and is questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more. TE Harold Fannin figures to pick up extra routes for however long Njoku is out.

Update: HC Kevin Stefanski said after Sunday's game that Njoku has a knee injury but didn't provide any other details. We should learn more on Monday.

        Cedric Tillman Hurts Hamstring

Browns WR Cedric Tillman suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Lions and has been ruled out. We'll update his status when we know more, but expect this to be a multi-week injury. Tillman's absence will free up snaps for rookie WR Isaiah Bond, and potentially mean more targets for WR Jerry Jeudy and TEs David Njoku and Harold Fannin.
