        Quinshon Judkins Close To 100%?

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins (leg) appears to be operating at close to 100% at OTAs this week, according to multiple members of Cleveland's media. Judkins is five months removed from suffering a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle. He's clearly on track to be ready for Week 1, and it's looking like that injury won't be a concern for his 2026 fantasy value.

Quinshon Judkins Expected To Be Out 4-5 Months

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins is expected to be sidelined for 4-5 months with the dislocated ankle and fractured fibula he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Bills, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That timeline would put Judkins back on the field in April or May. He'll miss part of the offseason program, but it sounds like he'll be ready for the start of training camp. The injury ultimately shouldn't have much of an impact on his 2026 outlook. Although the efficiency wasn't great this year (3.6 yards per carry), Judkins flashed more than enough -- coupled with his second-round draft capital -- to be a heavy favorite to open next season as Cleveland's lead back.

Quinshon Judkins Out for the Season

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins suffered a dislocated ankle and a fractured fibula in Sunday’s loss to Buffalo, per HC Kevin Stefanski. Meanwhile, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said after the game that the team is also evaluating the rookie for a knee injury. We'll keep an eye on his recovery timeline, but Judkins is sure to miss at least a chunk of the offseason program. In his place, Cleveland may ride Raheim Sanders and Trayveon Williams. On Sunday, Sanders held the edge in carries (11-3) with Williams leading the backfield in targets (4-1). Note: Jerome Ford is on injured reserve, while rookie Dylan Sampson missed today's game with a hand injury.

Quinshon Judkins Carted Off With Right Leg Injury

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins was carted off the field with a right leg injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Bills. He was in obvious pain after falling awkwardly at the end of a catch, and the broadcast opted against showing a replay. We'll update Judkins' status when we know more, but this clearly looks like a serious injury.

Quinshon Judkins Rumbles for 2 First Quarter TDs Despite Inefficient Play

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins went 16-47-2 against the Raiders, averaging just 2.9 yards per carry. The Raiders defense shut down the run for most of he game, but Judkins was able to score on 8- and 2-yard runs early in the game. After those TDs, he did not have much of an impact in the game. He did make multiple trips to the injury tent in the fourth quarter.

Quinshon Judkins "Day To Day" With Shoulder Injury

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins is “day to day” with the shoulder injury that knocked him out of yesterday's loss to the Patriots, HC Kevin Stefanski said Monday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Judkins has an AC joint sprain. Cleveland gets a Week 9 bye, and it sounds like Judkins has a good chance to be back for Week 10. That makes RB Dylan Sampson just a deep-league stash on waiver wires this week.

        Quinshon Judkins Hurts Shoulder

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Patriots and is questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more. Judkins' absence leaves Cleveland's backfield to Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford.

What Aren't the Browns Telling Us About Jerome Ford?

Browns RB Jerome Ford missed practices Wednesday and Thursday to open training camp because of an undisclosed injury. HC Kevin Stefanski says the injury "happened over the last couple of weeks," according to Cleveland.com. He also says Ford is "progressing well" and that he "would be OK." Ford's absence presents obvious opportunity for fourth-round rookie Dylan Sampson, with RB Quinshon Judkins also out following domestic-violence charges.

Browns Draft Quinshon Judkins as a Potential Three-Down Back

The Cleveland Browns selected Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins with the 36th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Judkins was an early breakout with 1,565 rushing yards and 16 TDs as a true freshman at Ole Miss (2022). After another strong season in 2023 (271-1,158-15), Judkins transferred to Ohio State. Unfortunately, OL injuries and a shared backfield with TreVeyon Henderson led to career lows with 194 attempts and 1,060 rushing yards. Judkins looks the part, though, with NFL power and burst off the snap. He showed high-end athleticism at the NFL Combine, registering a 75th percentile forty time, an 89th percentile vertical, and a 98th percentile broad jump. His efforts earned him an excellent 9.87 Relative Athletic Score.
