Colts DE Kwity Paye left Sunday's loss to the Titans early with a hamstring injury. He made it through just 10% of the defensive snaps before leaving. We'll see about Paye's outlook this week.
Colts rookie DE Kwity Paye is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams. He sandwiched a missed Thursday practice between 2 limited workouts. We'll see about his status Sunday morning but wouldn't plan to use him in IDP lineups.
Kwity Paye has joined the Colts as the 21st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Paye hits the NFL with loads of speed and athleticism. His 114.6 speed score ranks 89th percentile among NFL edge defenders. Paye stands a bit on the small side, though: 6’2.5 and 261 pounds. He enjoyed a nicely productive junior campaign in 2019, including 6.5 sacks and 12.5 total tackles for loss. But Paye played in only 4 games this past season. On tape, he looks like he’ll need some work developing that athleticism into NFL productivity as a pass rusher.
