Ty Montgomery, WR, Packers
Blind-bid recommendation: 40-50%
Four days after handling 13 touches against the Cowboys, Montgomery racked up 19 in Thursday night’s win over the Bears. He carried 9 times for 60 yards and hauled in 10 of 13 targets for 66 more.
Montgomery’s rushing role figures to shrink when RB Knile Davis settles in and RB James Starks returns from his knee injury. But he’s earned a significant role in a passing game that might see elevated volume for the rest of the year. QB Aaron Rodgers chucked it 56 times on Thursday night.
Davante Adams, WR, Packers
Blind-bid recommendation: 30-40%
His huge 13-132-2 line on 16 targets on Thursday night was likely matchup-based more than anything else. Adams had totaled just 15 looks in his first 5 games. But he reached 7 in 3 of those and scored in 3 of them.
He’ll benefit going forward from the Packers throwing it more with no semblance of a running game.
