The Seahawks will get S Julian Love and CB Devon Witherspoon back in the lineup Thursday night. Neither DB carries a game status on the final injury report for Week 4 after each putting in a full practice Wednesday. Rookie S Nick Emmanwori is doubtful, though, while Edge Boye Mafe is questionable.
Among four Seahawks who landed questionable or doubtful on the final Week 4 injury report, only one guy did not record a full practice. And that player left Wednesday's workout early.
That makes it fair to wonder how much we can trust the fullness of the practice itself ... but it also might give us some usable info.
Love and Witherspoon each managed just a single full practice, but it was a short week. The lack of a game status should mean we can trust each guy in our lineups.
A full practice for Emmanwori should prove encouraging as well. He has been out since early in Week 1 with a high ankle sprain, so this seems to portend a Week 5 return to game action.
I'd like to wait and see what an active Emmanwori looks like in the lineup -- playing time, specific role, production -- before considering starting him in fantasy. But there's enticing upside.
Mafe saw his playing time and productivity fluctuate last season and will need to prove he belongs in IDP lineup consideration.
