Trey Hendrickson Headed for Season-Ending Surgery

Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson will have core-muscle surgery, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The procedure is expected to keep him out of action for six weeks, which would obviously cost him the rest of this season.

Schefter: "Hendrickson initially suffered the injury during week 6 against Green Bay, and pushed to play two weeks later against the Jets. This injury has not improved with advised rest and team rehab, and now will need to be addressed."

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport: "Hendrickson is set to visit Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia's Vincera Institute as he weighs likely core muscle surgery."

We'll see what 2026 as in store, with Hendrickson set to hit unrestricted free agency in March.

The Bengals hope to have Edge Joseph Ossai available Sunday against the Ravens after he sustained a shin injury in the loss at Buffalo. Rookie Edge Shemar Stewart (knee) is also eligible to return from IR this week if ready.
