Give Josh Jacobs credit for trying to play through a knee injury after he missed practice all week, but fantasy managers would have been better off if Jacobs had rested. Jacobs mustered only 36 yards on 12 carries in Green Bay's 22-16 overtime loss to the Bears. He chipped in a pair of receptions for 12 yards, but Jacobs' 6.8 PPR points were his second-lowest total of the season and came at the worst time, in the semi-finals.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Entering this game, Jacobs was averaging 37.9 snaps and 16.6 rushing attempts per contest. But he just never could get going in this one.
Jacobs played just 28 snaps (39%) and ran only 9 routes.
He had a chance to salvage his fantasy outing in the third quarter, but fumbled on Chicago's 3-yard line and was only on the field for two snaps for the remainder of the game.
No. 2 RB Emanuel Wilson led Green Bay's backfield in snaps (33), carries (14), and rushing yards (82). Christopher Brooks was also in on 15 snaps, running 11 routes and garnering 1 carry.
We thought there was a chance that Green Bay would limit Jacobs' touches in Week 16. We'll closely keep an eye on Jacobs this week as the Packers prepare to take on the Ravens next Saturday.
Emanuel Wilson would be a must-add where he is available on the waiver wire.
