Steelers Edge T.J. Watt will miss a third straight game this week following the procedure for his partially collapsed lung. NFL Network reports that he's expected to be ready for Pittsburgh's next "meaningful" game.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
If either the Ravens lose this week to Green Bay or the Steelers beat the Browns, then Pittsburgh will clinch the division. That would almost certainly mean Watt sitting out Week 18 and returning for the playoffs.
If the division remains undecided for Week 18, then we should expect Watt to play.
Pittsburgh does, at least, get Edge Nick Herbig back for this game. He missed last week's win over Pittsburgh with a hamstring injury that kept Herbig limited to open this practice week. But he put in a full Friday workout and carries no injury designation into the game.
Expect Herbig to start opposite Alex Highsmith and see strong playing time, barring an aggravation of the hamstring issue.
Herbig has climbed our Week 17 rankings, while Jack Sawyer -- last week's No. 2 edge -- has moved down.
Herbig's return is a positive for Pittsburgh's team D, though the matchup would have made the Steelers a good play either way.
