The Bills picked up the fifth-year option on TE Dalton Kincaid. The move triggers $8.1 million in fully guaranteed money for the 2027 season.
What They're Saying
Here's GM Brandon Beane on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday.
“I'm excited about what Dalton has done ... he had a little knee deal that's hampered him, and we had to monitor his reps [in 2025]. We're hoping this year that we can get back to a normal set of reps."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Beane is spot on, as Kincaid played only 26.6% of Buffalo's offensive snaps last season. He's missed nine games over the past two seasons.
The Bills return Dawson Knox and second-year TE Jackson Hawes, so they're deep at the position. But Kincaid is the one proven impact player.
Despite 2025 injury trouble, he posted strong marks in yards per catch (14.2) and yards per route run (2.70). He forced only one missed tackle, per Pro Football Focus, a sign of limited mobility.
Ultimately, he delivered top-12 fantasy lines in five of 12 outings.
If his route rate rises -- and his knee troubles fade -- Kincaid could more consistently deliver TE1 totals. Our PPR TE rankings place him inside the top-12.
Projected ADP Movement
Kincaid is currently going TE10 in early Underdog ADP, with a reasonable Round 10 ADP.
We don't anticipate a major rise from there, even if offseason news on his health is positive. That's the result of Buffalo swinging a trade for DJ Moore.
Still, current projections have Kincaid for a 16.3% target share -- enough to deliver fantasy value in an efficient Buffalo offense.
