Terry McLaurin Headshot

Following the Commanders' joint practice with the Ravens, just a few weeks before opening weekend, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic says this is the worst she's seen the Commanders' offense in years. She even went as far as to say the offensive line appeared 'inoperable'.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Daniels Can Mask Some Damage

While there was no obvious fantasy impact when it was announced that left tackle Laremy Tunsil was possibly out for the season with torn triceps, the impact is already showing.

“For much of Wednesday’s workout, the Ravens defense crushed the Commanders, capitalizing on Washington’s inexperience at center and right guard. Runs up the middle were often stuffed at the line, at least of Daniels’ pass attempts were batted away and three others were dropped,” Jhabvala wrote today.

Daniels is looking to get back to the level he reached as a rookie, when he averaged 23.2 fantasy points per game (PPG). Thankfully, his profile isn't too reliant on the weapons around him.

That season he was able to achieve a top six quarterback finish while ranking outside of the top 15 quarterbacks in passing PPG.

If the offensive line issues leak into the regular season, it is going to be a far bigger issue for the receiving weapons on this offense like Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs who are both trying to bounce back after down seasons.
