Justin Joly Headshot

The Broncos released fifth-round rookie TE Justin Joly. Insider Mike Klis calls it a "surprise," adding, "He did struggle adjusting to NFL in training camp and clearly he could use a redshirt year."

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Dynasty Shine Fades

Joly looked like an intriguing sleeper in this year's deep TE class. The converted WR led UConn in receiving as a sophomore, finishing with a 56-578-2 line. He then transferred to North Carolina State, totaling 92 catches, 1,150 yards, and 11 TDs over the last two seasons.

But getting cut as a fifth-round pick is a tough look. Joly is far from fantasy relevance right now and is not a must-stash if you're hurting for roster space in dynasty.

Other Winners & Losers: Monitor Engram

Evan Engram is safe as Denver's lead pass-catching TE. He underwhelmed last year, but there have been reports of a bigger role in 2026 under OC Davis Webb.

Engram isn't worth rostering in most redraft leagues but could emerge as a waiver option this season.
