After hyperextending his knee in practice last week, Ja’Marr Chase will be limited this week, per ESPN's Ben Baby. The Bengals still reportedly feel good about him with more than a week until their opener against the Buccaneers.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Nothing Changes At The Top
Outside of entering his rookie season, every year since Chase entered the NFL, he’s been a clear overall WR1 candidate. This year, despite what remains a minor injury, is no different.
Chase has missed just two games over the past three years, while producing seasons of 19.6, 23.7, and 16.3 PPR points per game (PPG) across that span.
Baby also reports that fellow Bengals WR Tee Higgins is dealing with a heel contusion, although it's not believed to be major.
Which is essentially not a factor in Chase’s projection. Whether Higgins is available or not, Chase averages over 19.0 PPG.
We’ll monitor Chase’s availability this week, but it won’t affect his top-three WR ranking.
