Panthers WR Jalen Coker was one of the surprises of Week 1. He caught 8 of his 9 targets for 138 yards and 2 TDs. Coker actually led the team in snaps (57) and routes run (40). Coker’s role in 11 and 12 personnel appears secure, so expect plenty of snaps this season.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Tetairoa McMillan was close behind in both, with 56 snaps and 39 routes run. He also didn’t play more in the slot, despite the offseason buzz. McMillan ran 21.4% of his snaps out of the slot, similar to his slot rate last season (19.8%)
Coker and McMillan will continue to dominate snaps for the Panthers WRs. If the passing game continues working as efficiently as we saw against the Bears, it could be a good fantasy season for both.
The Panthers will take on the Falcons next week, who gave up 20 points to the Steelers in Week 1.
