Omar Cooper Jr. Headshot

Jets WR Omar Cooper is considered "week to week" with the ankle sprain he suffered in the opener, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The "hope" is that Cooper is able to return within 4 weeks, Rapoport adds.

Cooper was operating as the Jets' No. 3 WR before going down. Those duties will now fall to Isaiah Williams, who isn't likely to earn many targets. That should mean more volume for WRs Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell.

TE Kenyon Sadiq could also help pick up some slack. He ran a route on just 46% of pass plays in Week 1 after missing much of the offseason with hernia trouble. Sadiq's role could grow quickly, though, and he remains an intriguing stash in deeper fantasy leagues.
