Davante Adams Headshot

In a Monday night game where the Rams top WR Puka Nacua was out with a hip injury, Davante Adams stepped up in a big way. The veteran WR hauled in eight of his team-high 10 targets for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns leading to 39.5 PPR points and a Week 2 WR2 finish.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Healthy Nacua, Still WR2

Adams became the first WR to produce multiple games of at least 190 yards and 2 TDs in their 10th season or later. A feat that even Jerry Rice accomplished just once.

It was an underwhelming opening to the season for Adams, producing just 5.6 PPR points after catching three of his 5 targets for 26 yards. But it was a disappointing Week 1 for nearly everyone a part of the Rams offense, in what was Stafford’s lowest scoring game since joining the Rams.

While Adams likely won’t produce a higher PPR point total over the remainder of the season, he remains a viable WR2 with fringe WR1 upside, even with a healthy Nacua.

The veteran WR has already proven capable, producing 15.9 PPR points per game for a WR9 finish last season in his first year with the Rams.
