In a lopsided win for the Rams without their star WR active, it was a career day for their second-year TE Terrance Ferguson. Last year’s second round pick produced 6 receptions on nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown, in what was a career-high 17.4 PPR point performance.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: TE1 Path Is Opening
After being on the field for fewer routes than Colby Parkinson last week, Ferguson led Rams TEs with 23 receiving snaps and trailed only Davante Adams for the team lead.
Ferguson also only trailed Adams for the team-lead in targets in a 9 target game that was good for a 29.0% target share. Which is a massive spike from the 6.7% target share he had last week, and the 5.1% target share he had last season.
Nacua is expected to return as soon as next week, which caps Ferguson’s immediate upside.
Still, with Ferguson surpassing Parkinson in opportunity, he could work his way toward TE1 production in an offense still projected to be one of the highest scoring.
If Ferguson’s routes continue to increase, TE1 production could come sooner rather than later.
