For the first time this season, McCaffrey was responsible for over half of the 49ers’ rush attempts. He finished Sunday’s win over the Cardinals with 15 carries for 75 yards and a TD along with 4 receptions on five targets for another 41 yards. The 49ers RB has now finished as an RB1 with at least 20 PPR points in back-to-back weeks.

McCaffrey handled just 10 carries in each of the first two games to open the season, which already matched the amount of weeks he handled fewer than 12 rush attempts all of last season.
He managed just a 36.7% carry share through the first two weeks compared to his 68.2% from last season. His 21.3% target share remained nearly on pace to last year’s 23.4%.
But Week 3 assured that he remains in line for a similar workload to his RB1 overall season last year, with McCaffrey handling a 65.2% carry share for 75 rushing yards in a 36-30 win.
The 49ers get the Broncos in Week 4, and McCaffrey will be projected for another high-end RB1 performance.
