Just a week after splitting carries with Blake Corum in an even 12-12 split, Williams handled 65.2% of the Rams’ rush attempts. He accounted for 15 carries on his way to 88 rushing yards while adding 6 receptions on seven targets for 70 yards. The fifth-year RB finished Sunday night with 15.8 PPR points, ranking as an RB1 pending Monday Night Football.

Williams has now seen his rushing usage increase each week to start the season, going from a 39.3% carry share in Week 1, to a 48.0% carry share in Week 2, before reaching 65.2% in this most recent week.
Last season, the Rams RB was one of just 10 RBs to handle at least a 60% carry share and 8% target share.
Although he hasn’t hit those usage marks through the first three weeks of the season, Williams is averaging 17.7 PPR points per game, which is higher than last season’s output.
That is actually the result of improved rushing efficiency. Kyren Williams is posting 2.68 yards per team rush attempt, nearly matching last year’s 2.69, despite handling nearly a 10% lower carry share.
The Rams face the Eagles in Week 4.
