Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence played an efficient brand of ball in Week 4, completing 18 of 23 passes for 227 yards and 1 score. That wasn’t much help in fantasy, though, especially when you factor in his 0 rushing yards. Lawrence has now been held under 10 rushing yards in three of four games.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Lawrence’s weekly fantasy finishes have fluctuated since Week 1:
- QB7
- QB29
- QB12
- QB23
Lawrence threw only one TD on Sunday, limiting an otherwise solid fantasy performance. The score came on a second-and-goal pass to WR Brian Thomas Jr., who was left uncovered in the back of the end zone.
There’s little reason to complain about Lawrence as a passer. He enters Week 5 third among QBs in TD rate while also ranking top-10 in yards per attempt, QBR, on-target throw rate, and passing success rate.
The missing piece has been his rushing. Lawrence is averaging 8.5 yards per game on the ground, down 12.6 from 2025. He has also yet to score a rushing TD or record a carry inside the 10 after posting a career-high 9 rushing scores last season.
We never expected another nine-TD season, but Lawrence had regularly shown enough rushing ability to contribute 4-5 scores before that breakout.
We'll see if the rushing picks up going forward. In the meantime, continue treating him as a QB1 against an Eagles defense that surprisingly ranks 24th in pass-defense DVOA.
