Packers RB Josh Jacobs will be removed from the Commissioner Exempt List on Monday and will be eligible to play Week 7, the league announced Friday afternoon. Jacobs will end up missing the standard 6 games for domestic violence situations. The league's statement also says, though, that the review of Jacobs' incident "remains ongoing." That seemingly leaves the door open for additional discipline.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
We'll continue to keep an eye on Jacobs' off-field issues, but it looks like we'll see him back on the field soon. It remains unclear what kind of shape Jacobs is in and whether he'll be ready to play Week 7.
Green Bay's other RBs have underwhelmed with Jacobs out, so the door is open for him to reclaim the starting job. But he'll be returning to a tattered offensive line that ranks dead last in adjusted line yards and 26th in yards before contact per attempt.
Volume could help Jacobs to RB2-level fantasy production, but don't bank on more than that.
