TE Michael Mayer outproduced Bowers in Week 6, catching 7 of 9 targets for 95 yards. That made him the TE5. Brock Bowers caught 4 of his 9 targets for 70 yards and finished as the TE13. With Jack Bech on IR, Las Vegas ran just one play with three WRs, keeping both TEs on the field. Kirk Cousins threw for 313 yards and 2 TDs to finish as the QB5.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Las Vegas leaned heavily on its TEs, with Bowers and Mayer combining for 18 of Cousins’ 41 pass attempts (44%). Mayer was far more efficient, catching 78% of his targets at 13.6 yards per catch. Bowers caught just 44% of his targets but averaged 17.5 yards per catch, so the downfield role is still his. The Raiders lived in 12 personnel, and that should continue until Bech or Dont’e Thornton Jr. (full practice all week, still on IR) returns.
Bowers was the TE2 in Week 5, catching 8 of 10 targets for 110 yards and a TD. Mayer was outside the top-45 TEs that week, so matching Bowers’ 9 targets is a notable jump.
The next three matchups are brutal for TEs. The Rams allow the fewest adjusted PPR points to TEs and ranked 10th in our pass defense power rankings heading into Week 6. The Jets (fourth-fewest) and 49ers (fifth-fewest) follow, and San Francisco ranked seventh in pass defense power. Bowers stays a TE1 on talent, but a low-end one in this stretch. Mayer is a TE2 who’s hard to trust.
