He ran 19 of the team’s 35 routes, while Johnson ran 7 routes and turned 2 catches into 24 yards. Allen’s quiet rushing day (5 carries for 1 yard) also left more of the ground game to Cook.

This was Cook’s second straight top-four finish after he ran 25 times for 111 yards and 2 TDs as the RB4 in Week 5. He has 47 carries for 207 yards and 3 TDs over the last two games. The workload is as secure as any in the league.

Buffalo is on bye in Week 7. Baltimore allows the fifth-fewest adjusted PPR points to RBs and ranked 11th in our run defense power rankings heading into Week 6. Minnesota allows the fewest points to RBs in Week 9 and ranked third in run defense power (-26.1 rush DVOA). The matchups are tough, but Cook’s volume keeps him an RB1.
