KC Concepcion Headshot

Browns rookie WR KC Concepcion led the team in targets, catches, and yards for Sunday's win over the Titans. He set season highs in each category with 8 catches for 129 yards on 10 targets, accounting for 32% of Cleveland's total completions, 28.6% of Deshaun Watson's targeted passes, and 41.9% of the team's receiving yards. Denzel Boston garnered 8 targets but turned them into just 3 catches for 27 yards.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Don't Get Carried Away

It's an exciting stat line from the first-round pick, but he benefited from season highs in attempts, completions, and passing yards for Deshaun Watson.

Check out Concepcion's weekly receiving lines to re-ground yourself:

  • 4-43
  • 6-28
  • 2-9
  • 5-64
  • 1-5 (left in the first quarter)
  • 4-37
  • 8-129

That last one's the clear outlier for now, though it did mark the third game of 8+ targets this season for Concepcion. It also, however, marked a season-high target share. He sits 29th among WRs in that category for the season to date.

That's still a positive spot for the rookie, along with a reminder of his offense's limitations. That has played a larg role in his not yet finding the end zone.

Week 8 holds a challenging matchup with Pittsburgh, though it's a rematch of the game that produced Concepcion's previous best receiving line.

He'll likely fit as a WR3 play for that one and a more attractive Week 9 visit to New Orleans.

A Week 10 home date with Houston could prove tricky. That remains a more talented defense than the results have shown, but Houston's been the third-best WR matchup by our adjusted fantasy points allowed. So expect Concepcion to sit in starter range of our rankings for that one as well.

Boston Holds Distance Advantage But Also Risk

Second-rounder Boston leads Concepction by 8.1 yards per catch, thanks primarily to a 9.0-yard lead in average depth of target.

But that also means higher-risk throws. Concepcion leads his classmate in ...

  • catch rate: 66.7% to 47.6%
  • success rate: 51.1% to 45.2%
  • receptions per game: 4.3 to 2.9

Boston has finished three straight outings with 3 catches or fewer and exceeded that number just twice in seven outings.

That makes him a low-floor weekly play with limited upside (thanks to his QB and offense).
